Our employee resource groups

Royal Mail has seven employee resource groups, connecting and bringing together people from all parts of the company. They were started by our people, for our people and are a great way to meet new colleagues. Our networks play a critical role in supporting the needs of our colleagues. They amplify the colleague voice as part of the One Royal Mail action plan. Our vibrant networks create communities for our diverse colleagues to celebrate dimensions of difference and create safe spaces for dialogue between underrepresented groups and allies. As part of our commitment to foster an inclusive environment, where colleagues feel they can thrive and belong, Change for Good is our ongoing all-encompassing campaign that encourages and serves as a reminder to continue to change for the better, by role modelling and living out our values. We’re launching a series of learning sessions and guidance in partnership with our employee network groups to help colleagues recognise, report and rectify challenging behaviours.

We're committed to supporting disabled applicants and colleagues at all stages of the employment cycle. We provide training, career development, and promotion opportunities. Our operations managers complete Disability and Reasonable Adjustments training to ensure that they are confident and effective in supporting colleagues with disabilities. We provide support and training for colleagues with existing disabilities and for those who have become disabled during their employment. Royal Mail is proud to be part of the UK’s Disability Confident scheme and to have achieved Disability Confident Employer status.
