Our teams are split into three divisions and they’re leading Royal Mail’s evolution, as we transform to meet the needs of today’s customers.

This team lead the research and development from concept to deployment across eight engineering workstreams, including control systems, electrical design, DWS systems, conveyor systems, mechanical design, system commissioning, and operational transition.

As an Automation Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our mail centres and parcel hubs running smoothly.
You’ll carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance across a wide range of automation systems, while identifying root causes of issues, improving performance, and driving continuous improvement.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll also contribute to projects that enhance and optimise our systems.
You’ll need to be a multi-skilled engineer with an ONC in Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
