Welcome to Milnet
Milnet is our dedicated employee resource group for members of the Armed Forces community. It exists to empower veterans, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers, and spouses/partners by fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion. Through a supportive community and tailored resources, Milnet helps address the unique needs of its members and champions their contributions to Royal Mail Group.
Your wellbeing matters - from day one.
At Royal Mail, we prioritise the wellbeing of all our colleagues, including veterans, service leavers, reservists, and military families. You’ll have access to free, confidential support including 24/7 online GP appointments, unlimited mental health consultations, and a personalised 360 Wellbeing scorecard with expert guidance. Our dedicated Wellbeing Hub offers practical tools for your health, finances, and family life — with tailored resources for the Armed Forces community. We also connect you to trusted charities like SSAFA and the Royal British Legion through the Rowland Hill Fund, so you’re never alone when you need support.
Supporting your Service

If you’re a reservist or cadet volunteer - or looking for a role that supports becoming one – we’ve got your back. At Royal Mail we offer up to two weeks paid leave for annual training or military commitments. Reservists also benefit from an additional unpaid leave allowance for travel to essential weekend camps. It’s our way of recognising your dedication, both in and out of uniform.
